Editorial policy

The Daily Fuckup publishes original reporting, curation, analysis, and commentary about Trump-world failures, legal setbacks, policy blowback, and political chaos. Our editorial voice is openly progressive. That perspective informs our framing, but it does not excuse sloppy facts or invented details.

How we publish

We prioritize distinct angles, public-interest relevance, and concrete developments. We aim to separate what happened, why it matters, and how we rate the scale of each screwup. We avoid flooding the site with overlapping stories about the same subject when one stronger article will do.

Attribution and sourcing

We retain internal source records for editorial review even when public-facing stories are written in our own house voice. We do not knowingly publish fabricated claims, disguised ad copy, or unlabeled synthetic quotes. When a detail cannot be confirmed to our standards, we either leave it out or say so clearly.

Bylines

Stories may appear under the house byline The Daily Fuckup Newsroom when they reflect shared reporting, curation, or editorial review. Named bylines may be added later as the newsroom expands.

Updates

We display published and updated timestamps where relevant. Substantive changes should be reflected in the story text or noted in a correction or update label when appropriate.
